Submission Guidelines

Carpet Jam welcomes music of all styles and genres, including but not limited to Pop, R&B, Rock, Jazz, Hip Hop, Instrumental, Folk etc.

Video Requirements

  • Your video can be captured with any good quality camera, including iPhone or smartphone cameras.

  • The image should be of good quality and suitable for YouTube.

  • You may use 1 take which may not require editing, or use multiple takes and edit your video to perfection.

Musical Requirements

  • You (Your band) can play the song live or on playback if you already have a good quality recording.

  • We prefer original songs but a good cover song (preferably with new arrangement) is also acceptable.

  • Your song can be in any language or style suitable for YouTube.

Setting Requirements

  • All videos must be indoors preferably a studio setting. Other indoor spaces can be used tastefully if required.

  • You may submit a new video or a pre-recorded video whether it’s been previously aired/distributed or not.

  • If a new video is to be made, we request that you include a Carpet (small or large) somewhere within the video (to be noticed from time to time in the video).

Disclosures and Legal Requirements

  • Carpet Jam reserves the right to add it’s logo and filters to your original file before posting.

  • Once we receive and approve your video, you’ll receive an agreement to review and sign.

  • We do not pay for your video or your video’s possible success in the future but we will pay for marketing and promotions ($100 minimum or more

    depending on your music video quality and potential).

  • We are not interested and will not attempt to monetize your music (recording) on any platform. However, we will turn on YouTube monetization on your video and follow YouTube requirements for registered/copyrighted songs.

  • A post date for your video (if accepted), cannot be determined

    until we evaluate the amount and quality of all submittals.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any video that may not suit our community or YouTube requirements.
